Step 1. Submit a Letter of Interest Reviews Program requirements by reading through the entire application, and contact the This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to obtain and complete a Letter of Interest. |

Step 2. Submit Pre-Approval Application: Complete Pages 1-3 of the Business Custom Incentive Application and include copies of Nicor Gas bills for the most recent 12 months, detailed manufacturers’ specification sheets (including make, model and equipment performance information), calculations of estimated therm savings and photos (optional). The Program will contact the customer to schedule a Pre-Installation Inspection at the installation site to document existing equipment and other required information. |

Step 3. Obtain Project Pre-Approval: The Program reviews the Pre-Approval Application and verifies project eligibility. If approved, the customer will receive a Program Pre-Approval Notice. Funds will be reserved for 90 days following the date listed on the Pre-Approval Notice. Please Note: Receipt of a Pre-Approval Notice does not guarantee an incentive. Final inspection and verification are required by the Program prior to distributing any incentives. Final incentive payment will be calculated based on installed equipment and Final Application incentive calculations. Incentive payments are subject to availability of funds. |

Step 4. Project Installation: After the Program has provided Project Pre-Approval the customer may begin installation. |

Step 5. Obtain Project Final Approval: Submit the Final Application once the project has been installed and is fully operational. The Final Application must include:
Please Note: Final Applications must be received by the Program within 30 days of project completion, or by June 15, 2014, whichever comes first. The Program will schedule and conduct the required Post-Installation Inspection with the customer, and review the Final Application. If approved, the customer will receive a Program Final Approval Notice which must be signed, dated and submitted to the Program. |

Step 6. Receive Custom Incentive: The Program will address the incentive to the payee listed on the Final Application. Please Note: The Program may require additional information, access to the project, or ongoing project verification for up to five years following completion. |
