Review all Program requirements listed throughout the Participant Information pages to ensure you submit a complete and eligible Rebate Application. After your Rebate Application is completed and approved, you will receive your rebate check in approximately 3 weeks. Rebate payments for Complete System Replacement rebates will be sent to participants on separate rebate checks.

Rebates are paid based on efficiency ratings and installation dates. The downloadable rebate application may not reflect the rebate amount your installation qualifies for. Verify which rebate you qualify for by reviewing all rebate requirements listed on the Rebate Information pages. Important Reminders

  • Rebate and Application Eligibility:
    • Products must be installed between June 1, 2011 and May 31, 2014. Indirect water heater, programmable thermostats and hot water pipe insulation must be installed June 1, 2012 - May 31, 2014.
    • Rebate offers are valid from June 1, 2011 to May 31, 2014, or until funds are depleted, whichever comes first. Rebate amounts are subject to change at any time without notice. Visit the Rebate Information pages for more information on the rebate you qualify for based on the equipment’s efficiency rating and installation dates.
    • Online applications must be submitted, and mail-in applications must be postmarked no later than 90 days after installation, or by June 30, 2014, whichever comes first (Please note the application deadlines for Complete System Replacements below).
    • Applications for the High Performance Windows rebate are no longer being accepted.
  • Complete System Replacement (CSR) Applications:
    • Use the Online Application system and select "Complete System Replacement" from the Welcome page after logging in.
    • You can also download the mail-in rebate application, and complete Page 4 for the Complete System Replacement rebate. Enter all product information, including both the furnace and central air conditioning unit on Page 4.
    • Applications for equipment that was installed June 1, 2013 through May 31, 2014 must be submitted online or postmarked within 90 days of installation, or by June 15, 2014 whichever comes first.

    • Please Note: Complete System Replacement applications for installations completed June 1, 2012 - May 31, 2013 are no longer being accepted.

  • Online Applications:
    • Nicor Gas Account Holders and Landlord applicants* may utilize the online application system.
    • Upload your invoice to the online application system in Step 2, or mail it into the Rebate Submission Address listed below after submitting your application online.
    • Check the status of your rebate online at any time after submission.
    • * Landlord Applicants:
      • Landlords and property owners who are not the Nicor Gas Account Holders for the space in which qualifying equipment is installed may apply for rebates, and are now able to use the online application system.
      • You must submit a completed and Account Holder-signed Customer Release Form (click here to download). Upload your completed form in Step 1 of the online application system, or mail it into the Rebate Submission address listed below.
    • Mail-In Applications:
      • Print out the rebate application, complete and mail in with all required documentation to the Rebate Submission Address below.
      • Contractors offering the Instant Discount who are not Contractor Circle Members must apply via mail.
    • Instant Discount:
      • Contractors and customers utilizing the Instant Discount option must apply using the downloadable Rebate Application.

  • Itemized Contractor Invoice/Proof of Purchase Receipt:
    • All applications must include an Itemized Contractor Invoice/Proof of Purchase Receipt, submitted to the Rebate Submission Address listed below, which includes:
      • Equipment Make, Model and Serial Number (if the product has a serial number)
      • Total quantity installed
      • Installation date
      • Payment terms (such as balance due of zero, financing or paid-in-full stamp)
      • Professional Contractor’s Business/Company Name, Address and Phone Number
        • Furnace Installations: Include the installation configuration ("Upflow," "Downflow," or "Horizontal
        • Pipe Installations: Include the insulation type, thickness and total linear feet installed
  • All applications are reviewed for eligibility following submission. Rebates are paid according to the requirements and rebate amounts provided on the Rebate Information page. Rebate amounts vary by efficiency rating and the installation date. Your rebate application must be accompanied by an Itemized Contractor Invoice with all requirements listed above. Should we require additional information to complete processing of your application, you will be contacted.
